25th Annual Tyler County Farm Bureau Awareness Dinner Held

The 25th Annual Tyler County Farm Bureau Awareness Dinner was held March 23 at Tyler County Fairgrounds’ log cabin. All proceeds from the annual event went to the Tyler County FFA and 4-H programs.

The dinner featured prime rib, served to the dinner guests by members of the Tyler County FFA and 4-H programs.

Vice President of the Farm Bureau, Steve Zechman, started the event with a welcoming announcement and grace was said by Reverend Donald Thomas. Zechman was also the Master of Ceremonies this year, and he announced the musical guest for the night was Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers.

The 2018 Farm Bureau Officers consist include President David Ash, Vice President Steve Zechman, Secretary Jim Hileman, and Treasurer Dorman Ash.

The Board of Directors consists of David Ash, Dorman Ash, Martha Ash, Bill Baker, Carol Cox, Zac Cox, Amy Grimes, Kurt Grimes, Larry Hadley, Una Henderson, Jim Hileman, Mike Smith, Paul Strickland, Steve Zechman, and Sara Sole.
