XC teams compete at Cameron Wild’N Wet

By Staff | Oct 15, 2014

The water hazard “Cumpston’s Crossing” along the course, makes Cameron’s Wild’N Wet Cross Country meet an athlete favorite year to year.

Tyler Consolidated and Paden City High School cross country teams each took part in the popular “Wild’N Wet” Invitational meet at Cameron this weekend. Silver Knight and Wildcat athletes competed through the woods, rough terrain and infamous water hazards to complete the course. At press time, however, no results were available for this meet.

The high school teams are preparing for the Region I Regional on Oct. 23, and the Silver Knights will compete at the LKC Championships on Oct. 16 at Mineral Wells.
