The third and final stop on a three-city discussion tour will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 at the Sistesville Volunteer Fire Department.

The series of community meetings on the topic of prescription drug abuse were planned for Tyler County by the Family Resource Network and made possible through a grant.

Drug abuse is only one area of concern. In reality, the program is an "umbrella for all prevention measures" translating to more community meetings as the need for discussion arises.

The meeting is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to come out and share their ideas.

All information obtained at the public meetings will be posted and discussed among workgroups at a summit to be held in September.
