Breakfast08-01 The Paden City Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. until noon at the Paden City Fire Hall. The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, sausage gravy, fruit salad, toast, coffee, milk, and juice. more »»

Memorial Ride

Memorial Ride08-01 A memorial ride will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, starting at the Short Line Elementary. The cost for ATV is $10, plus $5 for additional riders. Registration will be from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. The first bike will be out at 11:30. Refreshments, raffles and t-shirts will be sold. more »»

Revival

Revival08-02 First Christian Church, 230 S. Wells St. Sistersville, will host a revival on Aug. 2 - 5. Greg Strickland of Rock Solid Ministries will be bringing the messages. Services will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a carry-in dinner. more »»

Hilltop Community Center

Back to School Tailgate Party

Back to School Tailgate Party08-02 A Back to School Tailgate Party will be held on Sunday, August 2, 3-7 p.m. at the New Martinsville United Methodist Church. This event is sponsored by Catholic Charities, Genesis Health Care and NMUMC. This is the annual backpack/school supply program which has been done for several years. more »»

Blood Drive

08-08 At 6:30 p.m., there will be a movie showing at the Solid Rock Baptist Church on Rock Camp Rd. just past Hundred on Rt. 250. “Nail 32” is based on the true story of rodeo cowboy Jasper ‘Buck’ Livingston.
